Please note:

These events are free to attend, however capacity for each venue is limited. Each registration is for 1 person only. If you plan to bring a guest, they must also register.

Each summit has two registration types. “Speaker” is reserved for those individuals giving presentations, moderating or speaking on panels, and facilitating discussions at the summit. “General” is for general participation in the summit.” If your preferred summit option is no longer listed in the form below, please email naturebasedsolutions@resources.ca.gov to request to be added to the waitlist.

Scaling Up Nature-Based Adaptation: This session will share new technical guidance materials and programmatic regulatory pathways for scaling up nature-based solutions across coastal California.

Nature-Based Solutions on the Outer Coast: This session will share successful partnerships and projects as well as new ideas for nature-based adaptation on California's constrained and high-energy outer coast.

Living Shorelines in Estuaries: This session will share examples of how different agencies, tribes, academics, and non-profits are implementing living shorelines across California's estuaries.

Field Trip to Herons Head:

After lunch, we will be touring the living shoreline at Heron’s Head from 1:00-3:00pm to see and learn about a nature-based solution in action. Bus transportation will be provided from the MetroCenter to Heron's Head. After the Heron’s Head tour, we will remain at the Heron’s Head EcoCenter from 3:00-4:00pm to network and hear about a nearby project. Bus transportation will be provided back to the Bay Area MetroCenter at 4:00pm. We are considering running a shuttle bus back to the Bay Area MetroCenter directly after the tour at 3:00pm for those who are unable to attend the networking hour.
