The vast tropical savanna of eastern Colombia, known as Orinoquia, is one of most biodiverse regions on the planet, featuring plants and wildlife found nowhere else. It also provides a unique opportunity to shape the future of our world. Join The Nature Conservancy for a celebration of the region’s new National Natural Park Serranía de Manacacías featuring images from renowned Colombian photojournalist Federico Rios. His work captures the essence of endangered ecosystems and species, the beauty of culture, and raises awareness the urgent need to protect biodiversity.
