Grace Balawag, a Kankanaey-Igorot Indigenous woman from the Mountain Province, Philippines, is a social development specialist and Assistant Program Coordinator of Tebtebba’s Climate Change and Biodiversity Program. She coordinates the global Elatia Partners Network which is the Indigenous Peoples Global Partnership on Climate Change, Forests and Sustainable Development, spanning 19 organizations across 14 countries. She was a former member of the UNFCCC’s Facilitative Working Group of the LCIPP, Co-Chair of the IPO constituency, and serves nationally as a Steering Committee Member of Aksyon Klima Pilipinas, a CSO national network in the Philippines working on climate change.
