Joseph Corcoran is Program Director for the Interfaith Rainforest Initiative partnership, and has built and guided the program since its launch in 2017. Joseph previously held positions at UN Development Program where he was part of the leadership team for the Equator Initiative and Director of the Equator Prize, focused on local sustainable development solutions for people, nature and resilient communities, and as part of the Environment and Energy Group. Joseph also worked at UN Environment Programme, also guiding development of the Interfaith Rainforest Initiative. Joseph’s work has focused forests, nature, climate and the rights of Indigenous Peoples and forest communities.
