She currently serves as Chief Sustainability Officer of the Starbucks Coffee Company, leading its environmental and social sustainability strategies, programs, and partnerships around the world. Marika previously held a range of sustainability roles over 20 years at Mars, Incorporated and The Coca-Cola Company, and began her career in the non-profit sector addressing poverty in rural communities in the United States and Southeast Asia.
