Eleonore Fournier-Tombs is a senior leader in AI, data governance, technology innovation, and digital transformation. In her current role, she leads a team that provides strategic and policy advice to international agencies, regulators and executives on AI risk, policy, and technology strategy. She has worked as a senior data scientist for the RedOwl (now Forcepoint), the UN Secretariat, UNDP, the World Bank and OCHA, before joining UNU in 2022. She has published extensively on AI, digital policy, sustainable development and human rights. She also holds teaching positions at the University of Montreal and McGill in new technologies and cybersecurity. She lives in New York City with her family and plays cello for the UN Symphony Orchestra.
