Letícia Moraes is an extractivist woman from the São João I Extractive Settlement Project in Marajó (PA), Brazil. She holds a master’s degree in Amazonian Agriculture and works with the National Council of Extractivist Populations (CNS), focusing on traditional territories, climate justice, benefit-sharing, and community governance. Her journey is rooted in the collective struggle of forest peoples and in the belief that traditional knowledge is key to building just, sustainable development aligned with the principles of well-being.
