Jessica champions locally-led forest protection and community rights across the tropics by leveraging data, technology, and research to improve monitoring and management. She identifies gaps, tracks global forest protection efforts—focusing on human impacts—and mobilizes resources for sustainable solutions. With 15+ years in conservation and inclusive land governance, she addresses environmental democracy, livelihoods, sustainability, and Indigenous and local community rights. Jessica holds a Master of Environmental Management from Yale’s School of Forestry and a Master’s in International Environmental Policy from Tufts’ Fletcher School.
