Yet another story is already unfolding.

Across the world, communities are restoring landscapes at scale. Young entrepreneurs are creating restoration businesses. Indigenous peoples and pastoralists continue to demonstrate generations of stewardship. Regenerative value chains are emerging. Restoration is improving livelihoods, strengthening resilience, creating jobs, and building healthier ecosystems.

The movement has begun. The challenge is that the dominant narrative has not caught up.

This interactive fishbowl dialogue asks a simple but profound question: How do we change the story so that restoring drylands becomes one of the world's most compelling development, climate and investment opportunities?

This discussion will explore how movements are built, how mindsets shift, and whose voices matter most. Together, participants will identify the narratives, partnerships and actions capable of building a global movement that makes sustainable land management the new social, political, and economic norm.
