This session will formally launch the Pan-Amazon Bioeconomy Radar—a first-of-its-kind platform mapping over 180 public policies related to bioeconomy across Pan-Amazon countries—and present key insights to the global community. Building on this evidence base, the event will introduce a Policy Brief featuring prioritized, actionable recommendations to strengthen, align, and scale enabling policy frameworks across the region. Together, these outputs provide concrete, evidence-based tools to accelerate a sustainable, inclusive, and locally led bioeconomy in the Pan-Amazon. The session will convene governments, international organizations, civil society, and private sector leaders to explore how enabling public policies can unlock pathways for biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods. In doing so, the event will explicitly connect regional experience to global policy processes by positioning the Radar and Policy Brief as practical instruments to support the implementation of the G20 High-Level Principles on Bioeconomy. Insights generated through the event will also feed into the Bioeconomy Challenge Socio-Bioeconomy Working Group, ensuring that lessons from the Pan-Amazon inform technical inputs and future recommendations to the G20. The event will be delivered as a high-level panel discussion followed by interactive audience engagement.
