This event marks the global launch of the WHO–The Nature Conservancy Policy Brief Series on Nature-based Solutions for Biodiversity, Climate and Health. The inaugural brief, Delivering Health through Nature, presents a strategic vision and policy recommendations for integrating biodiversity, climate and health considerations into decision-making, planning and investment across sectors, supporting countries in translating global commitments into coherent national action.

Bringing together representatives from governments, Indigenous Peoples, international organizations and partner institutions, the event will introduce the key messages of the inaugural brief and explore how integrated approaches can strengthen policy coherence across biodiversity, climate and health agendas. Discussions will examine opportunities to better integrate biodiversity into health systems, National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs), climate adaptation and resilience planning, while highlighting the enabling conditions for implementation, including governance, financing, cross-sectoral collaboration and diverse knowledge systems.
